A note on solution of ZK-Burger equation by Rossby-Khantadze waves

Laila Zafar Kahlon and Hassan A. Shah

Abstract. In the present manuscript the investigation of Rossby-Khantadze equation in a dissipative ionospheric plasma is carried out. By using the tangent hyperbolic (tanh) approach, a damping solitary type solution is found for the ZK-Burger equation. Additionally, the dependency of obtained solitary structures on different ionospheric parameters namely, temporal scales and dissipation is investigated.

Short summary
We have studied here how Rossby-Kantadze waves in the ionosphere E region evolve when there is a energy loss. By applying an analytical method, we obtain a localized wave structure that could gradually weaken with time. We have shown that how its amplitude has dependent on time scale and the dissipation. These results improve our understanding of how such nonlinear localized wave disturbances formed, persevered, and decayed in the ionosphere.
