Reason for changing the wavelength numbers in the text: we probably modified this paragraph and forgot to update/switch the wavelength numbers accordingly. I have double-checked the numbers.

p-5 l-100: delete: "1030," should read 1005 (because we are identifying the contaminant, which has a wavelength of 1005)

p-6 l-1: replace "1030" with "1005" should read 1005 (because we are identifying the contaminant, which has a wavelength of 1005)

p-6 l-4: replace "1050" with "1005" should read 1005 (because we are identifying the contaminant, which has a wavelength of 1005)

p-6 l-8: update as "peaks at 2850 and 2920" (instead of "peak at 2920") should read "peaks at 2850 and 2920" (because the aliphatics have a double peak)

Reason for changing the wavelength numbers in the text: we were originally using 1050 as an averaged spectra for the carbohydrates. But we eventually decided to present the more exact value (which we also added on figure 12, panel b). But it appears that we had forgotten to update the value (from 1050 to 1030) in our text. Please make the updates that we suggested:

p-6 l-2: replace "1050" with "1030" should read 1030 (because we are identifying the carbohydrate wavelength - see figure 12, panel B)

p-14 l-6: the signal at "1030" (replace "1050" with "1030") should read 1030 (because we are identifying the carbohydrate wavelength - see figure 12, panel B)

p-15 l-21: at ~ "1030" (replace "1050" with "1030") should read 1030 (because we are identifying the carbohydrate wavelength - see figure 12, panel B)

p-15 l-24: at ~ "1030" (replace "1050" with "1030") should read 1030 (because we are identifying the carbohydrate wavelength - see figure 12, panel B)

p-15 l-26: at ~ "1030" (replace "1050" with "1030") should read 1030 (because we are identifying the carbohydrate wavelength - see figure 12, panel B)
